TV and Radio presenter Judi Spiers popped in recently to see how her creation ‘Ottery St Mary’, one of the 100 Moor Otters sculptures, was settling in to her new home at the Moorland Garden Hotel.
Judi joined owners Brian and Sonia Meaden for lunch and was delighted to be reunited with her creation.
No stranger to the Moor Otters project – the hotel was home to hugely popular Potter Otter for the summer – the team at the Moorland Garden Hotel was delighted when owners Brian and Sonia Meaden made a winning bid for the saintly sculpture.
Ottery St Mary was based at nearby St Michael de Rupe Church at Brentor as part of the trail. An iconic landmark, the church is believed to be one of the highest working churches in England – making the trek to see Ottery St Mary possibly one of the most challenging of the entire trail.
