Romance in the Rose Arbour with Devon’s Newest Outdoor Wedding Venue

Set in nine acres of tranquil, landscaped gardens with Dartmoor National Park and the rolling Tamar Valley as a backdrop, the new Rose Arbour at the Moorland Garden Hotel in Devon could be the most idyllic place to tie the knot!

Designed by local blacksmith and forgemaster, Matt Dingle, the intricate structure has already been proving popular for those all-important wedding pics since it’s installation in April, and is now licensed for outside ceremonies seating up to 160 guests.

The magical moorland location is also the perfect spot for your wedding breakfast, catering for up to 160 guests in the hotel’s Crystal Room, which comes complete with sparkling chandeliers and garden vistas, as well as one of the largest sprung wooden dance floors in the South West.

For the icing on the (wedding) cake, the happy couple can start the honeymoon with a night in the Forget Me Not suite, with four-poster bed and balcony overlooking the grounds.

Weddings in the rose arbour cost from £525 for the civil ceremony (excluding registrar fees). Wedding packages are available on request.
