We would like to let all our customers know that the team at The Moorland Garden Hotel is taking the spread of Coronavirus seriously. The health and wellbeing of our guests and employees is our top priority and we are of course vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy stay or visit to the Hotel.

We are closely monitoring the World Health Organisation (WHO) and local health agencies for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials. We are reinforcing these agencies' recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures within our Hotel. Our Hotels' Health and Safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and cover everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest rooms and public area cleaning procedures.

To answer some of the questions upmost in our guest’s minds:

For stays

Guests with existing individual reservations, including reservations with Advance Purchase Rates that are typically more restrictive, can make changes without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by 30th April 2020. For guests making new individual reservations between today and 30th April 2020, reservations can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before a guest's scheduled arrival date. For bookings made by a travel agent or online booking platform, we are advising guests to contact their agent.

For Event bookings

If the option to put an event on is taken out of our hands, and the government puts measures in place to stop gatherings, events will need to be postponed to a date later in the year. We would not cancel the event, and monies paid would not be lost, the event would simply be postponed to a mutually suitable date.
