Father’s Day Lunch

Enjoy a hearty three course lunch in our stunning AA Rosette Wildflower Restaurant with views over the gardens. Tasty, seasonal food which can be topped off with a stroll around our nine acre grounds, then followed by a pint in our Dartmoor Bar. Make father's day a relaxed afternoon at the Moorland Garden Hotel.

Served from 12noon – 2pm

Three course meal and coffee, and a gift for dad. 

Adult £24.95  Child £15.00 (age 3 to 12 years)

Broccoli and blue cheese soup, rosemary croute (v)

Ham hock terrine, hollandaise sauce, black pudding, house salad (df)

House smoked mackerel, charred sweetcorn, sweet pickled fennel (gf, df)

Root vegetable crepe, celeriac puree, candied hazelnuts (v)


South West glazed beef short rib, Yorkshire pudding, roasted root vegetables

Slow cooked gammon, sautéed baby apples, apple cider sauce (gf, df)

Pan fried sea bass, sautéed new potatoes, buttered prawns, wilted greens, pesto and

sundried tomatoes (gf)

Sweet potato pie, house salad, spiced coleslaw (v)


Warm apple and blackcurrant pie, crème anglaise (v)

Trio of doughnuts: apple crumble, rhubarb and custard, strawberry and chocolate (v)

Steamed treacle sponge, honeycomb ice cream (v)

Selection of West Country cheeses, celery, apple, grapes, brandy apple chutney (v, gf)
