In addition to our wedding terms and conditions we are pleased to add the following extra points to clarify our position for all bedroom bookings.
The hotel operates a cancellation policy of 24 hours prior to arrival.
Cancellations received after 2:00pm the day prior to arrival, or failure to cancel, will incur a charge equivalent to the first night's stay.
Your credit or debit card guaranteed your reservation. In case of non-arrival or late cancellation, the first night will be debited from your card.
All cancellations must be received in writing and acknowledged by the Hotel.
Advance Purchase Rates are fully non-refundable so please do make sure this is what you want before you proceed with a booking.
Early Departure Policy
Guests wishing to check out of the hotel prior to their confirmed departure date must advise Reception no later than 24 hours prior to planned departure to avoid an early departure fee equivalent to a one night charge.
Payment for the room will be taken at the time of check-in. If the bedroom has been booked and paid for as a gift please make sure that the guest is either aware of this prior to arrival or a card explaining that it is a gift has been left with our Reception team. Should a debate begin over payment of the room we will not get involved and will require the parties to remedy this between themselves.
Smoking Policy, Damages, Heavy Cleaning and Theft
The Hotel is non-smoking. If a guest has smoked in their room/hung out the window/stood on the balcony, and housekeeping have reported the odour on cleaning the room, a fine of £50 will be made to the details held for the Reservation.
If, on cleaning the room, housekeeping report damages to the room or the need for heavy cleaning due to a guest accident or incident then a bespoke charge will be made with notification to the details held for the Reservation. It is best if an accidental spill is made or a guest is ill in their room, that Reception is notified at the time so cleaning can be carried out straightaway. It is the leaving of an issue for several hours that creates the need for deep cleaning and the bedroom to be out-of-use for sometimes days.
If, on cleaning the room, housekeeping report the absence of supplied items, contact will be made with the guest to ask for their return or a charge will be made to the details held. Should the items removed from the Hotel be such that the Police need to be notified, they will be.
