The family-owned AA four-star Moorland Garden Hotel prides itself on offering great service, a comfortable stay and flexibility for business travellers.
Guest rooms are equipped for a very comfortable stay and include tea/coffee-making facilities, TV with Freeview, desk and chair and en-suite facilities. The Dartmoor Bar offers relaxed and informal dining, and somewhere to rest after the busy day. Our Wildflower Restaurant offers an excellent dining experience, with private dining space for corporate entertaining. Meeting rooms can also be hired should you need additional space.
As an independent hotel, we set our own rules when it comes to decor, and guest rooms and suites have attractive and individual soft furnishings. Our lounge has comfortable low-chairs and a selection of books and magazines to browse. The reception desk is continually staffed as we know that sometimes you may need to check-in late or leave early. If you miss dinner, room service is available. And for every guest, free Wifi and on-site carparking is included as standard. And if we can upgrade you, we will, free of charge.
The hotel is located just off the A386 between Plymouth and Tavistock, and is within easy reach of the A38 and a number of business parks and employers. There is a mainline train station at Plymouth, just a short drive away.
We are a popular hotel for business travelers, with a Booking.com customer satisfaction score of 8.4 and a top-rated destination for LateRooms.com.
We do not charge for transferring dates and there is no charge for a no-show.
Should you wish to consider our hotel for your business travel, or discuss a great value corporate accommodation arrangement we would be delighted to show you or your representatives around the hotel at a time to suit. You may also wish to consider our venue for conferences and events and you are welcome to view our function space.
